Reduced Rate Tuition Information
Gabriel’s Art Kids After School Arts Program, operates on a break-even basis. Unlike many after school-based programs we receive no government or other outside funding. Although scholarship subsidies do not cover our costs, we are strongly committed to offering subsidized rates to families whose children otherwise might not be able to experience our award-winning after school arts program.
Scholarships/tuition reduction is based on the following criteria:
Submitting Your Reduced-Rate Tuition Application
Step 1: Read over materials and contact Gabriel if you have any questions (360) 739-9365 or email.
Step 2: Complete Reduced-Rate Tuition Application online (below) and attach copies of required documentation. If you complete the online application please be sure to submit supporting documentation by mail or dropped off at the school.
Step 3: Mail or Bring in completed application and documentation to Gabriel’s Art Kids, 2215 D St., Bellingham, WA 98225
Reduced-Rate Tuition Application Documentation
In order for GAK to be fair to all families in need, be in compliance for our annual audit and to prepare reports for possible scholarship funders, we must have acceptable documentation to support the income you report on your Reduced-Rate Tuition Application. This documentation must be submitted for all household members listed on the form.
Applications received without proof of income cannot be reviewed or processed. Please submit photocopies of all applicable documents, as indicated below, to verify total household income. Please do not submit original documents. To ensure confidentiality, please submit your documents in a sealed envelope.
Listed below are sources of income and acceptable documentation to verify income:
Scholarships/tuition reduction is based on the following criteria:
- Available funding from private sources/donations (this varies from year to year).
- Demonstrated financial need.
- Income eligibility figures are derived with help from OSPI guidelines determining qualification for free/reduced price lunch. These figures are adjusted each year.)
- Completed Reduced-Rate Tuition Request application and documentation returned in a timely manner.
