Wreaths for Art: A Community Celebration and Fundraiser

Join us for a community-centered celebration that invites participants to create unique wreath-style artworks. This event encourages creativity, community involvement, and supports local arts initiatives.

CREATE: Join us on Craft Day to work on your wreath with provided materials, or create your masterpiece at home. Your choice!
DISPLAY: Your creations will be showcased during a special art walk for the community to admire.
VOTE: Attendees can vote for their favorite wreaths, celebrating our community's creativity.

Entry Details & FundraisingParticipation

Adult Entry: $10 (proceeds support event costs and prizes)
Youth Entry: Free for all students
Craft Day: We provide basic supplies at no extra cost, including:
- Wreath base
- Basic tools (scissors, glue, markers)
- Note: Additional decorative materials should be brought by participants.

Supporting Our Community

All submitted wreaths are donations to The Arts Connector
Each wreath will be sold for $20 as a fundraiser
Purchasers can pick up their wreaths after the event

Key Dates

November 1st: Online registration opens
November 3rd, 3-5 pm: Creation Day at Dupont St.
November 27th: Last day to drop off wreaths
December 1st: Wreath display and voting begins
December 20th: Voting ends at 12 pm, winners announced

The Arts Connector is dedicated to unlocking creativity for every child in Whatcom County. They provide access to art education for children and youth from 18 months to 18 years of age, breaking down barriers and allowing young minds to explore a world where creativity knows no bounds.
