Meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30-11:30 AM, this gentle introduction to preschool provides a warm introduction to classroom routines, creative play, and making friends—all through our signature arts-integrated approach. Located at our D Street building in Bellingham, with small class sizes for personalized attention. No potty training required!

My First GAK is designed specifically for children experiencing school for the first time. If your child has previous group care experience, our Impressionists program may be a better fit with flexible 2-5 day options.

Can my child move to more days if they're ready?

Absolutely! My First GAK creates a natural pathway to our Impressionists program. When your child is ready for 3-5 days per week, we'll work with you to make that transition smooth and exciting.

What should my child bring?

Just a small backpack with a change of clothes, diapers/pull-ups if needed, and a NUT FREE snack. We provide all art supplies and learning materials. Detailed supply lists will be provided upon enrollment.

How do I know if my child is ready?

If your child is 2.5-3 years old and this would be their first school experience, they're ready! Our gentle approach meets children where they are. Schedule a tour and we'll answer all your questions.
